Dino mini

Here is the finished Dino mini for the birthday swap I was in.  I really wanted to do the T-rex in dino fabric, but I like how these colors turned out.

This was a paper pieced pattern.  But I got it on craftsy, and since they have had all their issues, I cannot link to it.

Here is the quilt, quilted and bound!

And here is the back.  I LOVED the back fabric, but didn't have enough to finish the whole thing, so I added some red :) And you can see the label I added at the bottom.

Here is the final quilt all laid out! Minnie is inspecting it to make sure I have it all smoothed out, so there weren't any wrinkles!

(I made this one before my long arm, which is why I laid it out to pin it)

I made this quick tote bag with no pattern.

 

I found a pixelated groot online and thought it would make a cute mini, although it's quite a bit bigger than a mini ;)

Dog Quilt - design wall

I am sure I sound like a broken record when I talk about my design wall.  But I just love it so much!  We have lived in our house almost 3 years now, and I still love my design wall (and don't know how I lived without it!

This quilt is all dog fabric.  It's for my birthday swap I did (three years ago! I know!) I was having a hard time trying to decide what I was going to make, and then I thought, she has dogs, why not use some of this dog fabric I have, and make her a quilt!

I used a variety of fabrics, so it was hard to make a set design, but I tried to space out the lights and the darks.
